Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Add enough water to cover the chicken completely and bring it to a rolling boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let the chicken simmer for approximately 15-20 minutes, or until it is fully cooked and no longer pink in the center.

    Shred the Chicken: After cooking, carefully remove the chicken from the saucepan and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Once it is cool enough to handle, use two forks or a stand mixer to shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
