Ingredients

6 mini bread rolls

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened to room temperature

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried parsley

¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for heat)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C), ensuring it's fully heated before you add the bread bowls.

Prep the Bread Rolls: Take the mini bread rolls and, using a sharp knife, carefully slice off the tops of each roll. Gently hollow out the insides with your fingers or a small spoon, creating a little bowl. Make sure to save the tops, as they'll be used for presentation later.

Prepare the Garlic Butter: In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, oregano, dried parsley, red pepper flakes (if using), as well as a pinch of salt and a dash of pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well blended and the mixture is creamy.

Assemble the Bowls: Using a pastry brush or a spoon, coat the interior of each hollowed bread roll generously with the garlic butter mixture. Next, take the shredded mozzarella and fill each roll with a generous amount, lightly pressing down to ensure the cheese fits snugly inside.

Top the Bowls: Carefully place the reserved tops back onto each filled bread roll. This not only enhances the flavor but adds a lovely rustic touch to your presentation.

Bake: Place the filled bread bowls on a baking sheet to catch any drips. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bread is beautifully golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the bread bowls from the oven and allow them to cool for about a minute. Prior to serving, sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for an added touch of color and freshness.
