Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey sausage

1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough (buttermilk variety is preferred)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced onion

1/2 cup diced bell pepper (any color)

3 large eggs

1/4 cup milk

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a muffin tin generously with cooking spray or butter to prevent sticking.

Prepare the Biscuit Dough: Open the can of biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Using your hands or a rolling pin, flatten each biscuit into a circle about 3 inches in diameter. Carefully press each circle into the cups of the muffin tin, ensuring they cover both the bottom and sides.

Cook the Turkey Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground turkey sausage. Using a wooden spoon, break it apart and cook for 5-7 minutes until it is browned and fully cooked. Add the diced onion and bell pepper to the skillet, sautéing for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender and fragrant.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Once the sausage and vegetables are cooked, remove the skillet from the heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and incorporated.

Assemble the Biscuit Cups: Spoon the turkey sausage and veggie mixture evenly into each biscuit-lined muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full. Carefully pour the egg mixture over the top of each cup, filling them right to the edge.

Bake the Cups: Place the muffin tin in your preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes, or until the egg is fully set and the edges of the biscuits are a beautiful golden brown.

Cool and Serve: Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow it to cool for a few minutes. Use a butter knife to gently loosen the biscuit cups from the tin. Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley for an added burst of color and flavor.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 35 minutes | Servings: 12 servings

Presentation Tips: Arrange the biscuit cups on a colorful serving platter. For an added touch, offer a side of hot sauce or your favorite condiment for dipping.
